Stayed Again and It's Still||Great!

This grand old hotel surpassed my expectations as I stayed here again for the weekend and spent more time in the premises. Although there were just a few guests the whole place was spotless clean, with a very kind and nice lady working the rooms in the second floor and making you feel welcome. Front desk was also good, I had trouble completing my reservation through a booking site but they kept the same fare for me. Shower is excellent and cable TV better than most hotels I've stayed in Brazil. But the really amazing bright spot was the water heaters on the wall - they actually work and warm up your room much better than modern air-conditioning!
My only regret was that my wife asked for a two-hour extension of checkout time and they told us it would cost almost half a day fare for it. Given the hotel was almost empty and we are return guests I thought we would deserve a bit more kindness and generosity, but apparently management disagrees. In any case I strongly recommend this hotel and will continue to come back.

A Grand Old Hotel With Comfy Rooms and Great Infrastructure

I stayed at Atlantico again after almost a decade and was pleasantly surprised. This classic beach hotel from the early 1900´s has been recently renovated and has very good air conditioning, fast wi-fi and rooms which in some cases are small but pretty comfortable. Its swimming pool in the inner garden is great and so is the breakfast. Staff is friendly and helpful and it is well located just a 12-minute walk from the beach and facing the well-wooded main avenue of Cassino. Do give it a try if you are in the area. Also, do NOT miss the stroll down the huge breakwater at the lagoon mouth to see the sea lions and, if you are a birdwatcher or just love Nature, try to arrange a trip to the Taim Ecological Station (Some 100 Km going South), the road traverses this amazing wetland area and all you have to do to see the rich wildlife is to drive slowly - a great day trip.

A fantastic hotel just by the beach

A beautiful hotel located just on the beach. The food and the bar are superb.You must visit the hotel if you are staying in Rio Grande.
The suits are very generous and we had a bottle of champagne in our room.

Great hotel, an excelent localization, very close to Cassino beach, with a large swimming pool, and na average coffee break.The bad: there is no elevator for rooms at 2nd floor, and nobody at hotel helps you with your baggage.

Estadia foi boa, existiu um problema ao chegar solicitei cama de casal e não estava preparada, foi resolvida em algumas horas pois não tinha lençóis de casal disponíveis, papel higiênico de baixa qualidade, funcionários com baixo treinamento em atendimento ao público, café da manhã razoável
