Rustic but good value, with great staff
The hotel is located outside the town so was fairly quiet. Check-in was nice and quick. Our room was upstairs (no lift) in the corner and was a good size for a twin room. The hotel is a bit rustic, but the facilities were okay. The beds were comfy, with clean bed linen. We also had a sofa, slippers and working air con - the room was nice and cool which was great. The mosquito protection was great - really good mesh built into the window frames (very important for me as I always get bitten, but didn't here because of it). The bathroom was large, with okay water pressure and temperature.
We had dinner at the hotel and they had a good range of options (see the photos). The food arrived quickly and was tasty. We also had to pre-order breakfast. They had a range of options - I chose an omelette with a French baguette which was tasty and gilling - it was exactly what I needed to start the day.
The wifi was okay and the staff were friendly, helpful and wanted to practice their English whenever they could.
Overall, a good stay for one night.
