Wish We Could Have Stayed Longer!

What a charming family and excellent casa particular! Located right on the bay, with wonderful views, the casa is on a peninsula that is protected from Cuban blackouts because it's near a childrens hospital. The area is lovely, with some state-owned historic mansions that are beautiful and well maintained. Two excellent restaurants are at the end of the block (also on the water). The host has terrific English and a warm, welcoming personality. The breakfast was great. We wished we had more time in Cienfuegos as many parts of the city are architecturally impressive. Fantastic sunset over the bay!

Beautiful location, very friendly owners

We really enjoyed our three-day stay at the Zunilda and Raya house. The House is at the tip of a promontory, you couldn't be closer to the sea and a stone's throw from the beautiful Palacio del Valle. The house has charm and the room we had on the terrace was downright blissful, a table under the foliage of a tree (which grew on the roof of the house below), rocking chair and views of the sea, you could see the sun rise and set in the sea. The room was fresh, comfortable and beautifully decorated, the breakfast was delicious. The owners are very friendly, give advice for excursions, organize transport and helped us when, due to heavy rain, no taxi wanted to drive to this end and we risked missing our bus. We visited the beautiful El Nicho with its waterfalls, romantic cold water lakes and beautiful nature, the botanical garden and enjoyed a day of rest on the beach of Rancho Luna.

Very pleasant stay.

Nice and quiet casa, with a very pleasant and nice family. You have breakfast outside your room, and that is a nice place to be. We also dined twice in the casa and that is highly recommended. You notice that they do their very best for you and they work with fresh ingredients.

A good 'Casa'

What nice people, Zunilda Y Raya! They are very helpful and very informative.
It was a great Casa. The breakfast and dinner were good. The room was clean and spacious. In front of and behind the house was the bay and it was beautiful. The owners were very informative and always easy to reach. It was a homely atmosphere.

Room with a View

We stayed for 2 nights and our host and his family members were always on hand to assist us. The Casa was in an amazing location on this very narrow peninsular with the bay waters immediately to the rear and just across the road at the front. We enjoyed a very comfortable room, nice breakfasts and an excellent evening meal. The building was undergoing extensive construction works at the time though this didn’t disturb us but reduced the unoccupied external space for relaxing.
