Please keep this a secret! Please!

This was a fantastic find. Near the start of Taormina pedestrian area so you can find your room and then start the adventure. The streets are busy but the noise does not come in the room. The room was a very good size with a perfect en-suite. The building is old but inside is clean and new and solid in construction. There is a small lift from the 1st floor to the roof terrace. The terrace is perfect for breakfast (included) or for a drink at the bar. Their drinks master is knowledgeable and all in all this was the very best stay I have had anywhere globally for some time. A dream. ( English is spoken).

A wonderful place to stay…..

My husband and I spent three nights at Hotel Taodomus in Taormina while we were exploring southern Sicily. Its location is perfect: just inside Porta Catania at the southern end of Taormina’s main (pedestrianised) street Corso Umberto i - so quiet but just metres away from taxis, buses etc
The hotel is a beautifully renovated old building, ultra modern with a lift to a wonderful roof terrace and breakfast room with fine views over Taormina, the Ionian Sea and Mount Etna.
Our room was spacious and very comfortable to live in. Breakfasts were fantastic. I had the finest omelette I have ever had in my life there: potato, fennel and courgette flower omelette with fresh ricotta. In the evenings cocktails are served on the roof terrace. They were so good and the evening views so lovely we went up there every night before we went out for dinner.
All of the staff were amazing, very professional, attentive and charming and the hotel reception provided a really excellent concierge service personally tailored to our tastes and needs. They advised on itineraries, booked our restaurant choices and arranged our taxis etc
All in all a wonderful place to stay…………

Great location, excellent physical quality and decoration of the hotel, perfect bed and linen, excellent cleanliness, best terrace lounge for breakfast with great view and most importantly very courteaus and helpful staff. I highly recommend this hotel

We were so impressed. Initially booked for one night as a random place to stay on our first night in Sicily. We saw the room, and immediately decided to stay for three nights. I feel like we got the best view of the ocean in Taormina! We swam in the Mediterranean, an easy bus ride down the hill from the hotel. I can not speak highly enough of our stay here.

Perfect Hotel and Location

I had an exquisite time at Hotel Taodomus. Even though I was only there for one night, within minutes I was already planning my return. The welcome at reception was so friendly and helpful, offering all kinds of tips and options. The room was so comfortable and even though it’s on the main street it was peaceful and I slept like a dream.
The staff here are delightful, I was so impressed and the roof terrace is stunning. I went up there for an early evening Negroni and Manuel was so charming and helpful, introducing me to local gin from Syracuse and bringing some delicious vegetarian snacks.
There’s a great view of Etna from there, you could sit up there for hours enjoying the views.
Other guests in the hotel were friendly too, and I came back up here after dinner for a nightcap. I was introduced to the gorgeous Pietradolce wine from Etna region, delicious.
All in all, I cannot recommend this hotel enough for location, comfort, staff, views and the sensational breakfast on the terrace.
Cannot wait to return. Thank you.
