Great family run place to stay

I stayed four nights and will go back for two more. Especially nice place if you’re traveling like a local on your own. This is not the tourist section of Palenque if that’s what you’re looking for. Great advice in English or Spanish

Casssa Vlanca: What a Nice Family Running This Place!

Upon arrival, Amaury was great, telling me all that I needed to know to get to the archaeological site Palenque, as well as other sites in the region such as the Cascadas de Agua Azul and Roberto Barrios, that I sadly did not have time to visit. The room was comfortable and the A/C worked well, an important consideration in this hot area of Chiapas. The small pool was very refreshing, although small, so really just to cool off, rather than to say, do laps. The family owns cats that roam the common area, so those with strong allergies may wish to consider another location. Located a few blocks from the Parque Central (7-8 minute walk), I was happy to have the cafes and restaurants surrounding in such proximity, as well as a nearby lavanderia. All in all, I was glad I stayed at Casssa Vlanca, where you are made to feel like family.

Great little family run hotel

Very clean, very helpful family. The location is a bit outside the touristy area but only a quick walk to the zocalo. Avoid the laundry in the next block. My clothes came back dirtier and they went out. Very good wifi

The best spot in Palenque

The owners do everything possible to make you feel welcome. Guests are truly treated here as family or long-time friends. You get all the support you need for your holiday. Insider tips about hidden gems, assistance with car rental or suggesting food options - whatever you need, you are for sure not left alone. If there were 100 points available for rating Casssa Blanca, I would give that no doubts. Besides that, the hotel is small, clean, and in a quite location, yet close to the centre.

Amazing service! Felt like home!

We stayed here for 2 nights. After travelling for almost 3 weeks and struggling to communicate in Spanish and after a really long day, it was so nice to be greeted by Amaury, in English with a big smile when we checked in. The service here is what makes this a great place. In fact, Amaury explained to us that the hotel just used to be their family home until they decided to convert it into a small BnB and that's why they try to welcome each guest as if into their own home. The room is basic but has everything you need. The shower pressure could be improved, but again not a major thing. Amaury had heaps of great suggestions for things to do.
Overall a great stay, we loved chatting with Amaury to get a better insight into what day to day life is like in Mexico.
