The hotel was in a nice area by the Jewish Quarter. Close to plenty of food truck areas and restaurants. Sure, our room faced the Jewish cemetery however, we didn’t mind. It was part of history that needed to be remembered. It was calm. We needed the peace and quiet.
My husband and I stayed during winter time, but we were so warm and comfortable in our stay. Very friendly and helpful reception. We only paid for time one morning’s breakfast buffet, but we enjoyed it. They had a variety of food.
Room was always clean and tidy.
Left our luggages in their luggage storage after checking out, it was very convenient. Thanks for making our stay memorable and worth it!

DO NOT GO THERE

Very COLD experience!!!! It was impossible to stay in this hotel even for 1 night! In our room on the 0th floor there was no radiator, only a thermostat that supposedly heated to maximum, but the room was freezing!! We can conclude that it is not working properly! The floor is terribly cold, it is impossible to walk on it... The radiator in the bathroom did not work, although it was also set to maximum. In addition, the draft from two windows was terrible. You are blown on from all sides. At 12 midnight, when we decided to take a shower, the water in it was cold, only a little warm. To which the reception replied that everyone was washing now and the hotel was overcrowded. Then she decided to check the water and said that it was a normal temperature. Yes, only if we are walruses, then perhaps this is true.
I suspect that this hotel has a boiler that was not turned on in time or was turned on too late.
In any case, a hotel should not work like this. Before this situation, we also bought breakfast. It was impossible to sit on the -2 floor without a jacket, all the food was cold! And yes, the thermostat was on maximum there too. An old building that no one wants to fix and no one helps, only making up excuses. If the hotel does not want to change for the better, warn about it and change the prices, because this is not the cheapest hotel in Krakow. No one demands luxury services, but not getting sick in a hotel because of the cold and draft is basic. Therefore, 1 star!

Location ✅ style ❌

Location, absolutely spot on. Hotel staff and cleanliness as expected, no complaints. However for me the hotel is dated and the rooms extremely so, with low beds, 90s carpet and dark wooden furniture. The breakfast was mediocre and the hot selection was lacking. Of course as a Brit we love our full English and I’m not naive to know this is not what would be served, however in a cold basement with a lack of atmosphere, it just wasn’t appetising at all. Circling back to the location, it is excellent with local bars and restaurants at hand, and a gentle walk to the old town. I would recommend this hotel for those looking for a cheap and cheerful long weekend break.

Great hotel in the Jewish Quarter

Our first visit to David Boutique Hotel as two couples whilst in Krakow for a 4 day city break, I cannot recommend the hotel enough.
We were in rooms 22 & 24, whilst bijou, the rooms had everything we needed, a fridge, tea/ coffee facilities, toiletries, hairdryer, towels etc.
A great area within easy walking distance to the old town and a lovely bar directly opposite which offered great pasta and pizzas.
The breakfast in the hotel is amazing, caters for everyone, with the food being constantly refreshed.
We will definitely be going back to the hotel and would like to thank all the staff who were really friendly and helpful.
