Lovely friendly hotel

Spent 3 nights here with 6 friends. The hotel is in a great location and the staff were all very friendly. A good breakfast and although the rooms are a little dated they are large and very clean. left behind a necklace in the safe and the hotel staff were very honest and helped me get it back. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Tired hotel

Location, views, pool, room size and cleanliness sell this hotel.
This hotel is not 5 star as we know it. In need of an update, set in a time warp. Breakfast is chaotic, queue for coffee, queue again for toaster, run around a bit more to find where the butter is located. Guests bumping into each other or staff with hot drinks in their hands, it's like a mad works canteen.
The front of the hotel used to be planted up beautifully with bedding plants, now it's dead grass and not a flower in sight. Garden area not trimmed or weeded to the standard it was.
Choice of drinks on terrace is now far more limited and prices much higher.
Pool towels, some are so old they look like something you would keep for your dog.

Unbearable noise

It's amazing that after the money you pay you can't sleep. I'm in room 132 and the noise at night is unbearable. I guess it's the air conditioning pumps, but it sounds like a washing machine spinning next to your ear. And that I have the air out of the room. You can't sleep with caps. A 5-star hotel? I don't give him 3

A total reform...

The positive is the view (fourth view sea) and the outdoor heated pool.
Otherwise an antiquated hotel and in need of a beautiful renovation, staff tired of customers, without any attention even to those who have the Privilege loyalty card, disorganized breakfast and without any quality in the products.
Ugly and expensive bar drinks.
They accept animals in the rooms where the owners abandon them and don't even want to know, lick all the time and the reception did nothing.

Could do with some smiling lessons

We arrived at this hotel about 10am and when we went to check in we were told that the room was unfortunately not ready and to come back at 3pm.Hot and very tired from the long journey we went on to the balcony that overlooks the pool. We sat there for a while and I decided to get a drink from the lobby bar,l asked the young bartender if I could have a pint of lager.she looked at me and shrugged her shoulders. It was a bit awkward so I just left it. After about an hour my wife asked for an update about the room and a different guy on reception said it was ready. The hotel lobby is surely 5 star but as soon as you exit the lift for the rooms you are instantly transformed to the 1940s. In the the room you will find a tray with a kettle,some coffee sachets and some tea bags but if you want milk and sugar you have to phone room service and pay 3 euros. You open the patio door in the morning and within 5 minutes the room is full of flies all over the walls. Breakfast had a good selection of cereals,ham ,cheese etc but the only hot option was powdered scrambled egg,mini hot dog sausage and grilled wafer thin ham to resemble bacon. The hotel is in a great location very close to the beech but During our stay not one member of staff said hello or thank you apart the from the old lady that gives out the towels at the pool.when we checked out I placed the room cards onto the reception,the guy looked up at me and said " did you have anything from the mini bar “ I said no and he said ok and the just walked away.
