Treatment that was personable and above and beyond.

Marisol is an absolute gem of a person. I had injured my ankle on the first day of the Camino de Santiago and couldn´t find lodgings near to where I was. I called Cornatel Medulas and was told that they had a room. I let her know that my pace was slow and I would arrive around 8pm. During my walk Marisol called to see how I was making along and giving me encouragment to make the last 300 meters to the hotel.
I stayed two nights and had a wonderful time there. The treatment I recieved was above and beyond. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the food was good. The interior dining area was fantastic as was the outdoor patio.
I will be returning there in the future.

Lack of courtesy

Having walked 40 km without eating, we asked if they could serve us even a snack at the door. The one who runs the Hotel Rural Cornatel told us, "I don't skip my schedules for anything or anyone"; to which I replied, "I haven't asked you to skip the schedule." Apparently, the chivalry at the Hotel Rural Cornatel does not match that of Cornatel Castle...

The best accommodation in the area

We have been staying this weekend and it has been exceptional, as always. The rooms are perfect, all super clean and cared for down to the smallest detail. Marisol and Saturn are always watching everything to explain what it takes, to visit... a place to repeat again and again

Maravilloso. An Oasis on the Road

Maravilloso. Both Saturn and Marisol are lovely. The pool served us as a SPA after a hard stage of the winter road. We had dinner there and the potatoes with eggs and the tomatoes from her garden were amazing. Very attentive and close. Very nice and clean room.

Perfect stay in rural hotel

We stayed two nights in this little rural hotel tucked away in the centre of a small village and our host, MariSol, went out of her way to make our stay special.
The hotel is spotlessly clean and the modest bedroom was perfectly comfortable. We had a drink in the sunshine on the terrace our first night as well as a substantial steak and chips washed down with a good bottle of local red wine. Homemade yummy flan to follow.
Limited breakfast and a good cup of coffee was served in the rustic restaurant with walls covered in interesting ancient agricultural implements and other old ornaments picked up at local shops and at auction. There is a nice rural theme throughout the hotel.
A delightful stay at a reasonable cost and we would not hesitate to return.
