Decent apartment, but in need of maintenance & upkeep
Located about 15-20 minutes by car from the City Center of Stockholm, its location has plenty of supermarket/shopping and food options within short walking distance!
The Likes:
Car park, if you book well in advance, easy access to apartment!
Small outdoor terrace, on the ground floor if that’s your thing, especially in summer quite nice, furniture aged though and partially rusty
Bathroom spacious, with washing machine (terrible instructions, clueless how to operate the dryer, else shower good (after they repaired the shower head holder)
Living area, single room, with good sized double bed, very comfy, sofa/couch, coffee table,
Dining table that seats 4, which is nice, but also weird as the Kitchenette was designed by a clueless individual who has no idea of space and material planning! Good enough for a small pot & pan, but that’s where it stops!
Cabinets good spaces!
We loved the accessibility and the number locks, no fear of loosing keys, all easy to use!
Dislikes:
Washing machine provided, no clear instructions & no washing powder!
(One can buy a welcome kit which includes basics for 100kr, but this was never mentioned in booking.com)
The kitchenette was poorly designed! Bad surface material , the Formica already warped at the mini sink,
Ceran cooking top partially unreadable (digital numbers only 1/2 visible)
Frying pan oversized to available cooking area/ring, makes no sense, and pan overused!
Microwave no instruction manual, bummer, try & figure out the various symbols, good luck!
Plenty of warning/fine signs in the room, don’t wash you dishes, extra charge, baking good for more then 10seconds in microwave, smoke alarm set off (silly, wrong) smoking in room 5000kr fine (good idea) want to smoke go outside!
But the good, when mentioning a few broken things, and a heap of cigarette butts on terrace, person responsible, Henrik, immediately got that resolved, including my car park issue, kudos to his pro-active action!
