Staff is reluctant to make service or greet cusotmers.
Restaurant is friendly and did their best out of the sources and circumstances.

Needs improvement
Check in itself was smooth. The rooms themselves are in much need of maintenance. Housekeeping was inconsistent and below par. Hair from previous guest in the shower and bathroom floor. Balls of dust gathered in corners from yesteryears. Dead mosquitoes on the wall and ceiling from past occupant battles with the squadrons of bugs due to where the resort was situated. There were no door signs to skip housekeeping the next day so someone did enter but only replaced towels, bottled water and removed the leftover hairs on the shower but not elsewhere in the bathroom. The in room safe was about the size of a iPad mini and had disposable chopsticks from previous occupants. Service at the Canyon Bar was slow.
On the plus side, the location was about 20-30mins closer to Taipingshan, the main restaurant fare was decent though certain staff seemed less clued in. Possibly summer student interns?
