The location of the hotel is amazing, we could walk everywhere. The staff was nice upon our arrival. The room is small but clean. The included breakfast is generous. Can’t complaint about the 2 nights we passed there.

Helped in a moment of need

We arrived in a frenzy in the morning after a bad experience in another hotel. Immediately the staff welcomed us into their arms. The staff treated us like friends. The breakfast was delicious. The rooms were well-appointed and very clean. We consider this hotel as good value for the money. Oh, and it's so close to many of the tourist sites, yet tucked into a neighbourhood with lots of character. There are so many things closeby -like a grocery store, bakery, restaurants, and barber shop - all the little things that you might not think of. Did I mention the staff? Honestly, in spite of the other positive things, the people working in the hotel were so hospitable. Thank you Golden Royal Hotel.

Good base for sights

The hotel is situated in a very busy cobbled street in the old town. The location is excellent for the Grand Bazaar, Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia. The rooms are nice and clean although a bit on the small side. Breakfast is adequate. When we arrived before we were given a room we were informed of the excursions that we could purchase through the hotel, this was a little inappropriate as we had spent a long day travelling and really just wanted to get the room and go out to eat

Very good hotel and great staff

Our stay at this hotel was perfect. The situation is unbeatable, it is a short walk from the main points of interest of the city. The cleanliness is very good, every day we have changed the towels and have replaced the amenities, comfortable beds and very nice rooms. All the staff at the hotel found us excellent people. Special mention for the waitress, sorry not to know her name, a blonde girl, always watching over us, and our thanks to the two receptionists who were on the morning of 25/11, we had a delay problem with a taxi hired on our own and these two gentlemen mobilized to solve the problem, thank you both very much. We definitely recommend this hotel
