Perfect for work stays in the City

Perfect place to stay when working in central London. The room is compact but has everything you need. It’s clean, modern and well designed. You couldn’t hear any noise from the street, the blackout blind worked well and the bed was comfy

We will definitely be returning to the hub city bank in the future. We loved the location and staff were friendly. They were all very professional and catered to all our needs. Thank you for a lovely stay. We recommend to stay here. Thank you..

Great for a city break.

Opted for a larger room & it was light & bright. Large comfortable bed & integrated control for lights etc above headboard - only 1 side worked so if wanted to get up during the night, had to stretch over to OH side.
Great location! Three tube stations within easy reach. Very quiet at night!
Noisy extractor fan which ordinarily would be drowned out by the air con. But room too hot with air con on & no windows could be opened.
Lovely powerful shower & toiletries. Quiet hotel over night apart from usual sirens etc in London.
Great plentiful breakfast.

Good value, but bring a step if shorter than 5ft

Good value hotel in a central location. Staff friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean. Breakfast was OK. The rooms are designed to be compact with under the bed storage and a slide out desk. I had a window with a view over a small garden, but a window isn't guaranteed. The was comfortable with a few minor issues. The bed is built in. It was very comfortable, but if there are 2 of you, whoever is on the wall side will have to disturb the other person to get out. Not ideal if you have to get up a few times in the night. Also, because of the storage the bed is very high. I'm 5ft 1 and had to launch myself using the chair as a boost. Finally, I don't like having to go to reception in order to get a cup of tea. All in all though, good value for money

Clean and friendly staff, note the cleaning regime

Hotel room clean and staff friendly. The reason for not 5 stars, is we asked for the room to be cleaned but it was not done. Apparently because you have to repeat your requirement in the morning . If you don't go to breakfast or see them this is difficult . Should of been noted in the evening. Also the next morning both lifts were broken. That meant a walk with suitcases down 5 flight of stairs . One person with a walking stick and one with a broken arm. If it was not for the lovely cleaner,who helped. This would of been difficult. No apology was given by the reception staff. A shame because normally you can't go wrong with a PI.
