Willing to switch after an error when placing reservations

Paid for a room outside of the main bldg, if you’re not staying with one person, the rooms attached to the main bldg are VERY cramped, although once we communicated with the main office, with the mix up. We changed bldgings and had our neeeds met.
The old owner standing around watching was a little off putting however, he was gracious and helpful.
Would stay again if all reservations were as reservedz, and not have to move two times aftrt10 hours of travel time would be amazing

Charming!

Charming historical hotel with good restaurant and bar attached. We loved the lobby and old movie star photos throughout.
Reminded us of the El Capitan Hotel in Van Horne, TX. Our room was small (especially the bathroom), but that's to be expected with an old hotel.

Charm of Yesterday - Convenience of Tomorrow

Amazing neon gem in the desert of NM!
Lots of history and photographs and hand painted murals. They have a restaurant w good food and a store w some handmade items. The bed had 4 pillows, which kept my gf happy. Will definitely visit again! Thanks Ashleigh for helping check us in late!

Great stay!

Small but quant. Loved the feel and the customer service was great. Will stay here again. The decorations were great and fit well with the remodel. Loved having a restaurant on site and loved the location being close to the interstate. Comfortable bed!

Wonderful historic hotel

From the two-story lobby, to the beautiful wooden double staircase, to the elevator with a manual gate and door, the historic El Rancho is charming and romantic. Room was smaller but comfortable. We also enjoyed a great New Mexican breakfast at the restaurant. Wish we had more time here.
