Great spot!!
The not so good. No room fridge. You need a place to at least keep cold waters and for the price each room should have one automatically. I also feel for a higher end hotel ( and seeing what others in Newport offer) there should be a special perk included. In room treat, champagne at check in, a wine hour......any extra touch. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. I am including some photos.

Excellent option for our wedding block
1) available for any and all questions regarding block / local recommendations daily, via phone and email (super timely responses) and met with us in person more than twice to go over details
2) upgraded room for a stay at sister hotel
3) upgraded rooms for wedding VIPs (parents of the bride and groom)
4) upgraded rooms to select guests (ADA and a suite)
5) handed out welcome packets to guests as they checked in
6) posted a flyer of wedding weekend events at front desk
7) helped coordinate trolley transportation for our guests
8) Giusto, the adjacent restaurant was outstanding
9) great location
Nicole, you especially provided a super high level of service consistently and helped to problem solve on multiple occasions (adjustments to reservations, assigning rooms based on my guest’s needs). You had a terrific attitude and I always felt like you would respond with a Yes/creative solution to whatever I was asking for. I loved working with you and would recommend the Hammetts to anyone looking for place to stay in Newport (tremendous location, beautiful facilities). I can’t wait to visit again!
