Overall it's a clean and pretty comfortable place to stay. The pool and jacuzzi are open 24/7 which is nice. There is a small arcade, gym, and sitting area. There are thoughtful touches such as complementary feminine products in the shared bathroom in the hallway near the pool and gym. The breakfast is decent and includes a waffle maker and flavored creamers. It's been undergoing renovations sp our bathroom was all new which is nice. We would stay again!

BED BUG NIGHTMARE!!!!

I was bitten by bedbugs in the first room we received then was moved to a second room which was completely worse! As you can see I was bitten ALL OVER MY BODY!!! I’m LIVID and have never experienced something so gross. We have gotten the runaround to speak to the manager Mark by employees and then when told he was in we were put to voicemail TWICE. They were made aware of this situation multiple times and they confirmed so. Then the hot tub in the second room had gross particles coming out which completely turned us off to using it whatsoever so we resorted to the pool instead. Was told by staff they clean the pipes regularly but CLEARLY that was a damn lie. This is an experience I never thought i’d have to EVER go through. I’m a newlywed and it ruined my ENTIRE spontaneous weekend! I’ve been itching for days and the bites that have resolved have now made spots on my skin. I model and now have to have retouching to my skin from the bites ! NEVER again. I will be posting this on my social medias as well (I am a social media influencer that also gets booked to review places such as hotels, restaurants, etc.) and I don’t want to hear how sorry this place is either. They had numerous opportunities to fix this and we deserve a FULL refund for the ENTIRE STAY!!! This is ridiculous!!!

Comfort Inn Traverse City

We stayed here for one night in October while visiting northern Michigan. The front desk was friendly. Our room was clean. Breakfast was similar to any other free hotel breakfast with a few hot items like eggs and make your own waffles and then cereal, fruit and breads. This hotel is not really within walking distance of downtown, but there is a restaurant next door that you could walk to if you didn't want to drive anywhere else.

VERY musty room

We are Choice members and prebooked a room online. When we arrived and checked in, we headed up to our room only to discover that the entry door was so swollen that hubby had to put his shoulder into the door to get it open. Once opened, it became obvious why--the room was OVER THE TOP musty and tnere appears to be significant hidden water damage.
We immediately contacted the front desk asking to be moved. However, we were told they were full up and we would have to wait until the next morning after people checked out. We had literally just driven 9 hours and were not willing to throw the dice on meandering down the road hoping to find another hotel late at night.
Luckily, we were moved to a different room the next day but not until after spending a horrible night in a mold dungeon room. Hubby promptly developed a sinus issue
The manager made some inane excuse about the fact that the bathroom exhaust fan was old and couldn't adequately knock down the humidity but that their impending remodeling would rectify this. B.S. because if that were true we would've experienced the same situation in the room they moved us to ... and we didn't. The room we had to spend a night in is not fit for habitation and should not be rented to anyone. Hubby said that he can smell the mustiness in the hallway near the room so it's obvious there was some major water damage that was never properly addressed or remediated.

In all my year I have never had a hotel not come in and at least make your bed up. The “breakfast lady” was rude to several guests. Would I stay there again? Absolutely not
