Great caravan park

Our visit was just as good as before . The management still guide you to your site and if you have trouble with reversing a van they are willing to assist . The cleaners do a fantastic job and the amenities were kept very clean . A nice clean park with plenty of room and we look forward to returning again

Disappointing

Upon check in we were “told” by the manager that he would open the boom gate for us, walk us to our site and then “assist” with backing our van onto the site.
This was not a simple offer of assistance, this was a demand and when my husband thanked him and declined the assistance (he is quite capable of backing our van), he was called arrogant by the manager who then continued to behave like a petulant child whose mother never said NO to him.
I also to.d him several times through the check in process that I was vision impaired and would take all the paperwork and local information to my husband to read. He ignored this information and continued to point at documents I was unable to read.
Advice and assistance are always welcome but please be aware that people have the right to decline both.
Customer service not a high priority. Controlling seems to be the order of the day at this park.
And whilst I love doggos, there were quite a few poops near the garbage that had not been picked up. This did make the flies pretty bad at our van, which was near.
Other than that Lakes Entrance is a lovely little town. We would be happy to return, and stay somewhere else.

Just had old blinds that let light in at night. Small shower with a shower curtain ? who uses them now days. Beds not that comfortable.

Control freaks

We don't normally write reviews, but these manager's Truly motivated me to review them and give potential guest a heads up before committing to stay here. Our first concern was that we were not allowed to drive in by ourselves using the site map but we had to follow one of the staff to our site. I could live with this but when my wife returned to retrieve washing from washing machine in the laundry she found the door locked and a fresh sign on the door informing her of the closing time. So our clothes were now locked in the laundry overnight but what is worse is that the managers were sitting on their deck watching my wife attemtping to retreive the washing and rather then saying hey can we help they said yeh sorry as you can see by the sign the laundry is closed. my wife's response was that the sign was not there before and they confirmed yeh we just put it up. So in short they knew that there was a load of washing in the landry and they made a conscious effect to lock us out forcing us to rewash the load in the morning. Absolutley terrible operators who are control freaks. don't make the mistake we made stay away from this park.

small attached cabin in a small space , heating was in the bedroom. Cheap accommodation for one night stay though. Had all of the facilities in the kitchen area but very tight space. Only real downside was the parking space and that you could hear through the walls to next door cabin.
