People who work and love their job.

We are here in front of a Gasthaus, Pension, Inn, Restaurant open every day and all day; the rooms are largely in a modern building, at the back. Very good, easy and free parking, good wifi, cleanliness, modern equipment in general.
The restaurant is good, and its staff is adorable, very good breakfast included.
We would be staying longer if Germany had not suddenly closed its border and prohibited, for example, visiting the castle across the Inn. In the Schengen era, daring to do this is an affront to people like me who have supported Europe since its beginning, it is very shocking.
I would add that police checks, on the pretext of a supposed border with Germany, are being carried out with zeal, and with a certain malice: is it really in the spirit of the EU to check the rescue kits to German standards?

Sunday dinner was ok

Four of us recently ate here in the restaurant. We ordered schnitzel, wild garlic soup and a chicken bowl, among other things. The service staff were very friendly and the food arrived quickly. The soup tasted good, but was very thin, the bowl was quite good. Unfortunately, my husband's schnitzel didn't seem to have any seasoning and tasted pretty bland. It wasn't a culinary masterpiece, but it wasn't bad either. It's something you can do and the friendly service is also a plus.

Extras much too expensive

A stick to the sausage salad, which already costs 10,- € anyway for 3,50 (even by Austrian standards) outrageous !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Beautifully situated, very quite, but dinner so-so

This hotel is situated close to the river Inn in a beautiful setting. Our room number 23 was spacious with a great view, ample heating and a handy place to out our luggage on.
Dinner was so-so, we had turkey schnitzel and chips but they forgot our asparagus which we got later for free.
Breakfast is simple but adequate.
The price is very affordable .
Lacking was soap / shampoo /shower gel in the bathroom and there were no drinking cups.
Personnel were very friendly.
Would we visit again ? Probably, but we'd have dinner someplace else .

Food rather mediocre...

We stopped for a meal twice after the hike. The first time, the pear and cranberries were missing from the roast venison, even though it was listed on the menu. The second time, I ate a Gröstel, which wasn't really a Gröstel. It was just a so-called Sterz, which was crispy but mushy and there was far too little of it. There was no parmesan in the pasta as advertised. No salt and pepper at the table. In the future, we will look for another place to eat, even though the restaurant looks promising from the outside. The staff were very friendly, though, which was the only thing that appealed to us.
