Well-located and great service

Well located by the sea and the room with sea view offer a breathtaking view. The breakfast is nice with wide variety. The hotel restaurant is good with a fair value for money.
There are few great restaurant by the pier where you could enjoy fresh seafood.

Customer unfriendly

Everything went wrong with our payment. We paid a lot of money in the end, because we had troubles getting our payment through in advance. Service at the front desk was really poor and not helpful at all as we tried to clarify the issue. They insisted on blocking our credit card again. We also had a really bad room right above a construction are that started at 5 pm and woke us up very unpleasantly. As we asked for another room we only got offered a higher standard room where we had to pay even more. Out of customer friendliness we had expected to at least get another room for free for all the circumstances the hotel had caused us. Every attempt to try and find a good solution failed. We will never come back to this hotel again.

Excellent location but porly managed hotel

Excellent location & Good Hygiene overall. But poor room amenities & Average food quality. Breakfast options are not good. Pillows on bed are very heavy, overweight & hard; very unhealthy. We all faced neck stiffness issue & sleep disturbance. Value of Money is below satisfaction.

Take a breath of fresh air and relax.

A clean room and friendly staff. The stickers or dots on the windows that fit well with the interior design are indeed disturbing. Parking at Q-park is very convenient, you have to walk a short distance. The Bistro restaurant Willem 1 was much better than I expected after reading negative reviews. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We didn't have to wait, if at all, until we had a little consultation. Chemao (Waitress of Willem 1) was kind enough to serve my husband lots of ice cubes with his drink. As an American, he thinks 3 blocks is far too little, and she fully understood that. We love coming back again.

Bedankt voor uw mooie review! We zijn blij dat u de kamer schoon vond en dat ons personeel vriendelijk was.
De stickers op de ramen zijn geplaatst om de privacy van onze gasten te waarborgen en om te voorkomen dat vogels tegen de ramen vliegen. Hopelijk had dit geen grote invloed op uw verblijf.
We zijn ook blij dat u genoten heeft van het Bistro-restaurant Willem 1 en dat het personeel uw verwachtingen heeft overtroffen. Het is fijn om te horen dat ze zo goed hebben ingespeeld op de wensen van uw echtgenoot.
We kijken ernaar uit om u in de toekomst weer te mogen verwelkomen!

Marina hotel suite

weekend of 15 January 2 nights booked suite with spa bath and sauna,view was stunning
At check-in you are asked what time you want to have breakfast but if you go early not all the food is there already (such as fried eggs hot snacks etc. ), you clearly felt a shortage of staff also at dinner Friday.
The sauna turned out not to work and there was a dirty brown substance on the wall of the toilet (idd looked like or was .....) this Saturday morning before 8 am reported but in the afternoon at 3 pm nothing happened with it again reported at reception this young man walked right along and asked the cleaning to come too
Sauna could not be repaired so we got other room everything packed and moved, further no form of compensation offered, but day no sauna had.
At check out this still reported would be passed on to the manager and he would email us ???? not happened so
View is nice room is nice but all in all a little disappointed

Bedankt voor uw review. Wat fijn om te horen dat u genoten heeft van het prachtige uitzicht en dat u de kamer mooi vond.
Tegelijkertijd spijt het ons te horen dat uw verblijf niet helemaal naar wens is verlopen. Onze excuses voor het ongemak dat u heeft ervaren, zoals de problemen met de sauna.
We hadden een kamer met een technisch probleem waardoor de sauna tijdelijk niet werkte. Inmiddels functioneert de sauna van kamer 1317 weer naar behoren. Omdat ik uw naam niet terug kan vinden in ons systeem, kan ik niet met zekerheid bevestigen dat het om uw verblijf ging. Wij zouden uw situatie graag verder willen uitzoeken. Zou u ons een e-mail willen sturen met de naam waarop de reservering is gemaakt?
Nogmaals onze excuses voor het ongemak. We hopen u in de toekomst nogmaals te mogen verwelkomen om u een betere ervaring te bieden.
