Central location

We have spent here 2 nights as a big group of friends. Location is perfect, close to everything. Actually even from airport you can get here by foot. It took as only about 30 minutes nice walk. Regarding cleanliness it was also OK. Quite big dining room.

Recommended accommodation for transit

This accommodation is conveniently located for those who plan on travelling on by ferry to Lofoten. There are numerous parking spaces in the area.
The staff is very friendly. The rooms were very small and functionally furnished, but clean.
Breakfast is served right next door in the restaurant.

Advertised as Hostel & Motel

Thought I was booking a motel, but it was the hostel, so a bit of a surprise and some disappointment to discover it was the hostel. That said it was adequate, 3 of us were only there to watch Arsenal play the local team Glimt, so as long as we had a warm room, an en-suite shower & toilet we were fine.
We had a television, wi-fi, the shower worked well, 2 bunk beds & two singles, not overly comfortable but a decent duvet made it acceptable, did have to make our own beds though!! The room was warm at all times and location was good, but the train announcements started at 06.34 which could be heard in the room.

Overgikk forventningen

Two friends and I spent one night at the Bodø Hostel and were pleasantly surprised. The three of us shared a four-bed en suite room (economy). The bathroom was of good standard, with toilet, sink and shower (incl. shower gel and hand wash). The bed linen and towels were provided, although we had to make the beds ourselves. There was also a desk, chair and TV screen. Each bed was supplied with a double power outlet and a reading lamp. There was also a shared kitchen on third floor.
We checked in after the reception closed and so they emailed us instructions for how to get our room key. When we checked out the following morning, we stripped the beds and put the linen in a basket outside the room as instructed and went handed in the key.
The hostel has a central location, with only a short walk to the railway station, ferry, city centre. The airport is only 10 minutes drive away.
Overall, very happy with our stay.

Friendly Hostel

Staff were friendly and helpful. Facilities were clean and comfortable. Great location near the train station and the town centre. Our window looked out over the water. Guests were different age groups which was nice. We were able to store our luggage here when we didn't need it.
