Accommodation absolutely different from that offered
stayed at this hotel with friends at the end of last October.
First of all I wanted to point out that the photographs absolutely do NOT reflect the state of the places . the property is old, very noisy, the bathrooms are ruined, showers unreasonable and the photos show anything but !
In addition, to allow entry we were required a daily tourist tax higher than luxury hotels (about 7 euros per person per day) and in asking several times for explanations we never had an answer!
Finally we couldn't even open the windows...
The only positive note is the central location.

bad experience
- uncomfortable pillows and beds
- not enough towels and shower products
- The apartments are worn out and need repair and renovation.
- The apartment in real life don't match at photo
- a lot of broken things - chairs, lamps, dangerous electrical outlets and a hairdryer
- no dishwasher
- The TV is not working.
- bad place to pick up the apartment keys. Different street and house, hard to organize with suitcases
- There are cockroaches in the apartment

Location great but...
The location of this AirBnB find could not be beat. We were close to everything. Next door was a fabulous restaurant called Rosa Negra, coffee shops, cafes, shopping galore. Definitely, a must visit location while in Barcelona.
However, the accommodations were rather interesting. While the bedrooms were great in size and well appointed, it was the bathrooms that took me by surprise. Tiny showers and sinks, and cramped toilettes. I was taken aback to see two small showers in one bathroom. You really have to see it to believe it. The main living area was small but opened up to the main street. The kitchen and dining area were tucked away in the back where most of the bathrooms were. I did not find the kitchen or dining area very useful.
I am so glad our stay was only for 24 hours; I don't think my family could have spent more than that together with this type of layout :) LOL If I could show you the video of the space you would understand. But at least it was clean and for 24 hours with family, it met our needs.
