Once again brilliant stay.

Standards Have Dropped
Service at dinner in the main restaurant area wasn't much better. Main course food arrived luke warm at best on cold plates. Wife said the Chicken Tikka Curry was bland/tasteless.
Breakfast is the usual buffet and standard/variety isn't great. You can ask for additional items off the Kitchen section on the menu, when we did the lady we asked looked completely put out as if 'how dare you', again took ages to arrive.
Dinner next evening was a lot better as we had a very good waiter who tried to arrange everything we requested, like hot food on hot plates. Though the butterflied chicken breast was overcooked and dry.
There was 1 good waiter at breakfast.
Room wasn't anything special for an upgraded option. The bath panel was delaminating, with rotten MDF coming through. Very stiff back after both nights.
Would probably only have given 2 stars, but the golf itself was good. Even though it looked as though it was going to be incredibly busy on the morning round.
Oh, of course prices for everything are expensive!!
Have stayed here many times before on business, though not for sometime. Standard was much higher than this.

We're also sorry to hear about the lukewarm food and the bland Chicken Tikka Curry at dinner, as well as the breakfast service issues. Your comments about the breakfast buffet and the additional items from the kitchen will be taken into consideration for improvement.
It's disappointing to hear about the condition of your upgraded room and the discomfort you experienced with the bed. We'll look into these maintenance issues to ensure a more comfortable stay for our guests. Indeed our bathrooms panels are being replaced next week.
We're glad to hear that you enjoyed the golf, despite the other challenges you faced. We understand your concerns about the prices and will review our pricing structure to ensure it reflects the quality of service we aim to provide.

Thank you for sharing your detailed experience. We're glad to hear that you found the premises well-decorated and the reception staff helpful. It's great that your room was spacious, clean, and tidy, although we apologize for the noisy car park view.
We're pleased that your evening meal was enjoyable, and we appreciate your suggestion to book a time due to limited tables. We're sorry to hear about the issues with breakfast service and the lack of butter, and we'll work on improving these aspects.
It's wonderful that your spa treatments were good and the staff were friendly and helpful. However, we deeply regret the inconvenience caused by the pool being occupied with swimming lessons and the lack of enforcement of pool rules. Car park Theft
Saturday one of our group informed us our clothes had been found, so decided to go and play our second game so rang the pro shop asking if we could have a trolley as we now didn’t one they gave each of us a completely one to use,I asked if I could have a course planner which I was told I had to pay for it so didn’t bother.
After we finished another enjoyable round of golf we got back to find another member of our group had their vehicle broken into and they had stolen a full set of clubs stolen out of the back which were not on show, with another three vans that had been broken in to.
So at least 6/7 vans broken in to and no security to be seen until we were leaving.
Waiting to see if will get a refund for the lost night of accommodation.
Would definitely not go there with a van.
The reason I gave only a poor review was because the golf course was good.

I'm truly sorry for your distressing experience. We deeply regret that your vehicles were broken into during your stay. Please know that we take security very seriously and have increased our patrols and surveillance to prevent such incidents in the future. We have not had a similar incident for over 7 years. Unfortunately, our car park was not the only place impacted, as a number of other venues in the area also experienced similar incidents on both days. It seems that a professional gang was operating in the area this weekend.
We're glad to hear that you enjoyed the golf course, and we appreciate your understanding despite the unfortunate events. We will certainly look into your request for a refund for the lost night of accommodation.
