Very good value, excellent customer service
Throughout my two weeks at the hotel, every single member of staff - lobby, reception, restaurant, cleaning staff - were outstandingly welcoming, friendly, and helpful.
The breakfasts each day were fresh, with a fair amount of variety.
The room was clean and very comfortable, with an effective and spacious shower.
Certainly a hotel I would choose on any future visits to Hanoi.

Very out dated hotel
We're disappointed at the condition of the hotel now.
We received a cheerful reception from an English well spoken lady.
The room looks old and needs refurnish, my husband took quite a while to open the room door. The room has few lights and looks dim.
The hotel is situated in a row of shops selling items for prayer and hardware shops. There's also a school just a few doors away.
We need to walk for a couple of minutes to look for food.
The morning buffet breakfast was a let down.
With the price I paid for I could have gotten better accommodation.
But nevertheless credit goes to the reception lady who patiently highlights the must see places & helps us to book a taxi to the airport.

very nice affordable hotel in heart of old quarter
Staff is very nice and helpful, they will also book trips if you want to see sights or do day trips. They will add 3% if you use a credit card which is not a problem but be sure to double check the math when they do. Right now hotel rooms come with free breakfast buffet. It is ok, not bad but really not worth getting up early for and we choose to mostly just go out on the town and find food.

Right at the enter of old quarter
Walking distance to all main attractions. Michael helped us get a great day tour to ninh binh.
Value for money. Also provided airport drop which is at additional cost.
