我住的标间，2大人1小孩，房间大小够用。
房间卫生还行，卫生间淋浴有干湿分离，洗手台下边的木板设计不错，防水防滑。
由于是淡季入住，价格不到2百元一晚，比较便宜，也没有啥住客，安静。

no English speakers - a huge problem
I believe the root of the problem is that the staff doesn't speak English **at all**. This was especially annoying, since I earlier emailed the hotel - in English - and asked several questions. A guy named Mick answered me, and we exchanged a few words over the email. So I believed this Mick will be around and communicate with me in English. But when I came to Lijiang he was nowhere to be found, and didn't show up even once. I have no idea what's happened to him. So I was stuck with a no-English-speaking staff. It was nearly impossible to put even a simple request. I should fairly note that they seemed to me very nice people who tried very hard to help me. But, as I said, since no one there spoke English - it just didn't work out.
I paid for a private ensuite room, and asked - from this Mick - a quiet room. When I showed up they gave me a room with chinese toilet, and I was very disappointed. So they gave me a room with western toilets, which was actually a very nice and clean room. However, its windows turned to the courtyard and it was so noisy.
I really wanted to get some info from the staff about trips and attractions in the area. But the English-barrier was too big, and I had to figure it out myself somehow.
It's very difficult to find the hotel. The streets and street numbers in Lijiang's old town are such a mess, you can't find anything. My advice: once you enter the old town (no taxi or bus inside the old town) - go into the first hotel you see, and ask them to call the hostel for you so they could pick you up.
They serve an extremely good coffee, but the price is a (bitter) joke - 38 RMB. It's good, but not that good.
