Very lovely experience.
A lovely stay at Sheedy’s Doolin. Beautiful rooms where all our needs were met. Comfortable beds and very clean and roomy bathrooms. We had two rooms. The breakfast was just lovely with so many delicious choices and so many egg options and hot items made to order. Would definitely go back. Marian and Frank were so very helpful in their restaurant recommendations and we had the best Irish music experience at McDermott’s, one of their recommendations. Would definitely go back.

Staying at Sheedys Doolin proved to be our lucky charm.
Everything that we experienced during our stay was superb, inlcluding the room, the grounds, the location, and our charming hostess Marian. As for the breakfast, both the quality and variety were the best my wife and I had ever experienced at a B & B. I would question the sanity of anyone who stayed here and did not agree!
Highly, highly recomended. My wife and I look forward to returning.

HOME IN DOOLIN
In March 2025, we stayed at Sheedy's Doolin Boutique B&B for 3-nights. This was our first stay with Frank and Marian Sheedy, and it certainly will not be our last. We actually have made another booking for the very near future. Frank and Marian were awesome hosts; very kind and extremely competent. Their attention to detail was phenomenal. We have been visiting Doolin for nearly three decades (twice a year) and this is one of the finest B&Bs we have ever patronized. We had a fabulous time, in all respects. Additionally, Frank and Marian have an awesome puppy named Bertie, who provided nonstop entertainment.
We arrived quite early on 16 March 2025, well before the normal check-in time. Although Frank and Marian were fully booked, they afforded us the opportunity to check-in a bit early. That was an extremely gracious gesture for two somewhat weary travelers. We then explored the Village of Doolin a bit and upon our return in the afternoon Marian offered refreshments and/or anything we desired. The quality of service and hospitality dispensed was essentially unmatched or unrivalled anywhere else. We have been guests at a significant number of B&Bs and this type of care is not the norm.
We were assigned a lovely Junior Suite. The room was gorgeous; extremely comfortable and was furnished with all of the modern amenities, inclusive of a very nice flat screen television. The room had multiple sitting areas, which my wife enjoyed. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the pillows were absolutely awesome. The latter was so grand that upon our arrival back home we purchased two similar pillows. The shower was absolutely awesome!
Each morning, we were treated to a wonderful breakfast fare; the best we have experienced in Ireland. We have travelled to Ireland around 55-times, so we have partaken in many an Irish breakfast. It should be noted that Frank is a trained chef having worked in a number of high-end establishments over the years. I opted for the traditional Irish breakfast each morning (DELICIOUS). My wife had a variety of fares, all fantastic. However, her absolute favorite was Frank's French toast, which my wife said was the best she had ever consumed. Simply scrumptious. The butter is delicious, too! Their breakfast menu is quite diverse so finding something you like will definitely not be a problem. Treat yourselves to homemade breads, scones, pastries, and jams as well.
I would definitely recommend spending some time on the grounds of Sheedy's B&B, as the landscaping was beautiful. Frank and Marian also have a lovely (somewhat wind resistant) patio where guests can sit and take in all of the brilliant scenery.
Sheedy's B&B is located in a wonderful geographical area for touring. The Cliffs of Moher is right up the road. The Burren is nearby as well. We have visited Doolin Cave many times in the past, an experience well worth your time too. Also, a drive to Kilkee and Kilrush is certainly a scenic treat. The Trump Golf Club in Doonbeg is reasonably close as well. Great golfing is nearby in Lahinch too. If you desire to sail to the Aran Islands, which we have done around 40-times, Doolin Ferries will be happy to welcome you aboard. The company was established in 1970 and is truly a great venue sailing out of Doolin. There is a myriad of other touring and sightseeing venues available, and Marian will be happy to assist you with any of them.
There are at least three noted pubs within walking distance of Sheedy's B&B. The music and interaction with some of the locals are some of our fondest memories. Marian will provide directions and will even provide you with a flashlight for the walk home after a night of sheer bliss. However, the main street is well illuminated these days.
To recap, Sheedy's Doolin Boutique B&B is one of the finest B&Bs in Ireland. It is currently ranked Number UNO in Ireland and in the top five or six in the world. When we departed Marian and Frank provided us with some delicious sweets for the road. Very kind, indeed.
So, if you are anywhere in County Clare, a stay at Sheedy's Doolin Boutique B&B is an absolute must. There are many B&B's in Doolin, however few can compare to Sheedy's B&B. The memories you make interacting with Frank and Marian will stay with you for a lifetime.

Top notch experience
Everything at Sheedy’s Doolin was top notch! Marian had very helpful recommendations and was lovely to chat with. Frank’s food was AMAZING and worth the stay in itself. The rooms were exceedingly comfortable. This B&B will be the highlight of your stays!

Book your stay at Sheedy's NOW!
Our stay at Sheedy's was one of the highlights of our trip. The accomodations were outstanding, spotlessly clean and spacious. We stayed in the Eagle's Nest room. It was a suite that had plenty of space to move around. We had a "super king" bed that was super comfortable. The bathroom was sparkling clean and the shower was extra large. The breakfast the next day was absolutely delicious. There were self serve type items that were all homemade that we could help ourselves to before our made to order meal. This included all sorts of baked items, yogurt parfaits, fruits, fresh juices and much more. My husband ordered the omelet and I had the french toast. Each of our meals were out of this world. Frank was a chef previously as he and Marian owned a restaurant before opening the B&B. The best part about our stay was the warm hospitality we received from Marian. We had an unfortunate accident that resulted in last minute changes to our plans. Marian was more than accomodating and genuinely concerned for our welfare. She really made us feel at home and we enjoyed our time talking with her. If we return to Doolin, we will definitely be staying at Sheedy's!!
