The sea is very rough. Impossible to swim in it there is over a 1 mile walk from dry land where the bus stops.
The walk
is treacherous with lots of rocks and rough sea that reaches your knees
I have never experienced such a terrifying example of a route to a hotel in my life
Your picture is misleading there is no beach and I have pictures ti prove it.
For two week there were thunder storms a raging sea pounding at the walls each night.
A nearby property collapsed into the sea a few years ago and the family died.
I felt very scared to stay in the hotel and could not wait to leave.
It’s a 1970 decor hotel. It was a horrendous experience. Manager sweeps dirt from each day into the sea.cleaner also .

Do Not Be Fooled By The Pictures. There is no beach! It's been eroded for years.
Booking.com Hotels.com and all agencies are lying when they show pictures of a beach. There is NO beach it has been eroded by years of the sea getting closer. In fast a hotel or residence nearby collapsed a few years ago killing all the family.
We were scared this hotel would collapse during the week of stormy weather when every night the waves thumped against the walls of the hotel.
We felt trapped during our week. If you want to visit the town/port area of Ischia you have to either brave the waves and rocks or climb up a mountain and follow a precarious pathway longer route to get to the piazza and bus.
When we arrived we did not know where to go. We called the hotel and after 30 minute the owner Johnny showed up. It was a o long walk as the hotel is at the far end of the beach and by the way there is no beach it has long since been eroded as the sea encroaches closer every year.
The food is bland mostly pasta. The owner's wife is a good cook however and makes delicious cakes.
There is an excellent restaurant behind this hotel a short walk up the mountain behind.
The cleaners are very aggressive and barge in to your room each morning. They sweep the dirty off your balcony into the sea. We also saw Johnny the owner do this in the balcony of the bar. Every day he sweeps the day's debri cigarette butts peanut shells sand all is swept off the balcony and into the sea.We were horrified.
Apparently the local municipality does not collect garbage from Moronti area so they have to bag it and take it to a town 5 miles away hence we saw a lot of small boats laden with sacks of rubbish head out to the sea. Locals need education. They have no regards for the environment.
We would not return to this 70's style hotel that has not been modernised if over 40 years.

Pension very welcoming and peaceful with amazing location
The hosts show great kindness and attention, the Pension is very quiet and the atmosphere very peaceful, with the sound of waves. A big crush on this island.
Be careful, however, it is advisable to be rather valid because with the rising sea, access to the Inn is not very easy and requires a walk on the beach and a small board bridge. However, in a very touristic Ischia this isolation is also welcome!

Beautifully relaxing
The rooms and facilities are very basic, but that doesn’t matter when you are in such a stunning location.
Lovely fresh croissants at breakfast and good coffee.
Comfortable bed and can hear the sea lapping against the shore.
We would definitely stay again if we were to return to Ischia.
