The Top of Catania

What can I say, we were fascinated by the location, very well looked after and very clean and the owner Mr. Umberto followed/recommended us and finally served a very abundant breakfast, the b&b is located about 150 meters from the most famous pastry shop in Catania and a I pass by Piazza Duomo, if you decide to come to Catania I highly recommend you stay in this wonderful building.

Excellent choice, shame about the rude awakening

I write this review reluctantly, as due to a misadventure the overall opinion collapses. Beautiful B&B located in the heart of Catania, a few meters from Via Etnea, in a historic building. The rooms have been renovated, while maintaining the ancient architecture. Breakfast included, excellent value for money. Unfortunately, however, we suffered a theft in the private car park reserved for the B&B: the glass broke and all the suitcases were stolen. It's really a shame.

Highly recommended

Excellent welcome and great availability from the owner. Fantastic location, it is a masterfully restored noble palace. Everything was beyond our expectations... Highly recommended.

Great from the moment we arrived!

We were having a little challenge finding a place to park to unload our luggage and as soon as we called Luciano, he was on the street within minutes, guiding us to a place to unload. He then took us up to beautiful accommodations, got us checked in and actually drove my husband to the parking lot so he wouldn't have to 'hunt' for it. Our rooms with their beautiful balconies were perfect and breakfast was a dream! Just the right amount of perfect rich Sicilian coffee and delicious fresh pastries, bread, meats, cheeses & yogurts Our hosts were a lovely couple that make you really want to stay longer!

Comfortable and recommended

Very clean, comfortable and well situated. Rooms have high ceilings, are light and airy and breakfast is sumptuous.
The hosts are very hospitable and helpful in advising on sights, restaurants and transport.
Very good English is spoken in a friendly atmosphere.
