Correct hotel
Good value for money, considering that it is a two star hotel. I have no complaints. The room was spacious and in good condition. The bathroom in perfect condition. There are no luxuries, but there are no defects either. The tourist does not need more.
The location must be highlighted above all. It is at the entrance to the city to the north, from Atienza. You can park nearby, and at the same time it is next to the cathedral and in the middle of a bar area where there is everything. The place couldn't be more practical.

The shabbiest known
In case it serves as a warning to anyone, the Labyrinth Hotel is the crappiest I've ever been to. They gave me a room that overlooked a small, dark and not very clean patio, nothing like what they advertise on their website. The walls were stained with moisture and the person who helped me was not at all friendly, although not unfriendly either.

great location
Good value, accomodating host. Centrally located with clean rooms and nice hot showers. Balcony rooms are especially nice. You can walk to all of the sites from this hotel plus there are many restaurants near by.

A hotel run by a really nice owner.
The large room overlooking the avenue leading to the station offered was essentially the size of two, one area for the bed and another with table and chairs and a small TV. It was clean, comfortable but could be on the cool side despite there being two radiators. Luis the owner, a charming man, cooked our midday meal himself at a price you could not beat, 12€ each, including a bottle of wine. Siguenza is not a cheap place to eat and one restaurant round the corner offered meals for 72€ each. There is a lot to see in this beautiful city and there are marked trails for those who like walking but the signposts are not always that helpful. A word of warning to those coming here by public transport. There are no buses and only a few trains a day anywhere so check with RENFE beforehand and make sure you have accommodation booked beforehand.

Good Budget Hotel
I had no idea where I was going to stay when I arrived in town on a Sunday afternoon. When you are traveling by car and unfamiliar with your surroundings, the layout of the streets, and the availability of parking, hotel shopping can be a real nightmare. As I entered the town from the north, on the CM-110 (Carretera de Soria), I crossed the railroad tracks by the station and planned to stop at the first opportunity in order to determine in which direction to go. And there it was, the two star Hotel Laberinto was staring me down. There was a row of parking spaces diagonally across the street and one of them was empty, so I grabbed it. As mentioned in one of the other reviews, written in Spanish, there is no lobby or any kind of common area. The reception counter is in the vestibule outside of what appears to be the owner's quarters. The dueño game out and quoted me a price of 34 euros. Given the fact that the building looked decent and that I had already snagged a parking spot right across the street, I didn't even ask to see the room. He only glanced at my passport and handed it right back to me. Usually they take it and have to fill out a government form and give it back to you later. So I don't know what the actual "by law" policy is here, but he didn't take any information at all. Also as mentioned in one of the reviews, while the dueño was not in anyway rude, he did not seem too interested in engaging in any kind of pleasantries or chit chat. Anyway, I got my belongings from the car and went up to my room on the second, what we would call the third floor. There is an elevator, so I did not have to hoof it. The room is very nice and it's obvious that there has been a recent renovation. I could call my room the "orange room", since the walls, the drapes, the bedspread, and even the chair cushion are an orangey salmon color. Everything appeared spotless. The bed is quite large and I found the mattress quite comfortable. There are two nightstands, each with a wall lamp. The closet is huge with plenty of hanging, shelf and even drawer space. There is also writing desk with drawers with a nicely padded chair and a separate identical chair in the corner alongside the closet. A fairly large, flatscreen TV sits on top of the desk. My room faces the street and has two tall double doors that open on to a small balcony. It's noisy once the morning rush starts, but there was no noise issue during the night. The bathroom is typical and also spotless. But it's really the target of my only negative observation. There is no place to lay out your toiletries. I used the bidet and also the toilet lid. The tub/shower is very cramped and the bracket for the hand held shower head is on the back wall rather than on the end wall. This could easily be rectified and would make for a much less awkward shower experience. On the positive side, the water pressure is excellent and there is plenty of hot water. So, all in all, I give it a four. If you are coming in from the north, it will be right there to greet you. Grab it! If you are coming in from any other direction, look for it. You will be glad you did.
