I was in awe when I walked into the place I was staying for the next two days of my vacation.

Nice Place close to the Water
We stayed here in Sept 2024, in an Oceanside Room with Kitchenette (#203). It seems like the property was relatively recently redone. Everything seemed quite new. Room looked just like pics online. Checking in is done via text and keypads/codes on doors. The staff is only there during the day, I believe, though everyone we encountered was very nice and helpful. The bed was Very Comfy! Bathroom is pretty small, but at least they had shelves on the wall near the sink to put your things on. AMAZING water pressure in the shower. The property is literally across the street from the "beach". It's a typical New England beach (rocks), but a lovely morning walk. We got breakfast one morning at KB's Bagels and Java, about a 10 min walk. If you're looking for a "sand beach" Jenness State Beach is just 4 miles down the road.

I stayed but one night and loved the hotel and the staff. I expected an impersonal touristy type in and out, and I got local - neighbors walking over for food and drink at the Surf Shack. The staff - Steve, Christine (I think), Kristen, regular folk, cordial and engaging, were a delight. I'm already planning a return trip.

Such a nice place. We had no issues. The deck is beautiful and staff was very friendly. Perfect view. Walk across the street for sunrise or see it from your balcony.

Great location! That's it.
It is a whole story to get the key to our room. There's no one in the Pension Office. The “explanatory” document we had received before leaving gave codes to type on a beaker but it was not clear. Neither the number of our room, nor the procedure to follow. One had the Impression that it was a code to open the door. A little complicated to figure out how to have the key, it’s not even clear that the code is for accessing the compartment where the keys are. Finally after several attempts, we manage to open the famous bidule and take the keys inside. We unload our patio door to enter our room #104, which is on the ground floor overlooking the sea.
